About

I’m a full-time freelance translator, working mainly from English into Hebrew.
I have a BA in General Studies and English Literature and a Diploma in translation and consecutive interpretation. I almost graduated Culture Studies (MA) as well, but decided it was time to make some money.

I teach business translation and lecture about Google for Translators, I do on-screen interpretation in conferences, and I will write more about it all soon enough.

  1. Hello ,

My name is Carie and I work for Local Concept, a Translation and Localization company located in San Diego, California USA, with branches in Taipei and Madrid.

Our company has been involved in the translation industry since 1985, primarily providing technical and marketing translation services through projects such as user guides, software strings, marketing pieces, manuals, cell phone translations, and more.

Currently we are seeking to expand our resources. We are seeking a Freelancer whose main language combination is English to Hebrew.

If you are interested, please email me (cwong@localconcept.com) with your current Trados version, USD/EURO rates per word, and a little more background information about yourself.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon and potentially working together.

    Best Regards,
    Carie Wong
